<p>Jointly organised by Sunshine Coast 2032 and Sunshine Coast Sports, the new Sports Connect event series are designed to bring grassroots sporting organisations, athletes and community and sporting body leaders together.</p>

<p>The series will provide a regular chance to share updates, explore opportunities and connect as the region moves towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. </p>

<p>The journey to 2032 will create exciting opportunities for sport across our region, and collaboration will be key to ensuring the Sunshine Coast is ready to maximise this once-in-a-generation moment.</p>

<p>The March Sports Connect event will see Sunshine Coast Council’s Grantley Switzer provide an update on some of the local activities already underway and in planning stages, while SC2032 and Sunshine Coast Sports reps will also be on hand to share the latest news.</p>

These conversations help ensure our region is not only prepared for the Games, but positioned to deliver lasting economic, social and community benefits long after 2032,”</em> Ms. White said.</p>								</div>
